“If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on Earth.” —Ronald Reagan

Dear Friends,

I need your help to ensure conservative victory in November.

The RNC Chairman Michael Steele is a RINO (Republican In Name Only)—and he must be replaced with a true conservative leader as the head of the party.

In January, we called for Steele to resign in an op-ed and on my radio show after he told Fox News’s Sean Hannity that the GOP will not regain control of the House in the 2010 midterm elections. He also appeared on CNN and TV One (a liberal black network) bashing conservatives—and reinforcing the lie that Republicans are fearful of blacks (implying they’re racists).

It was apparent that the RNC Chairman was more interested in being a talking-head media star than rolling up his sleeves and rebuilding the party.

Despite being criticized for his reckless remarks, Steele has continued to damage the Republican brand.

He’s appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America and complained that blacks like he and President Obama have a thin “margin of error” because of their race. Yes, you heard it right—the Chairman of the Republican National Committee played the race card!

Under Steele’s leadership the RNC continues to give the liberal media plenty of negative Republican headlines. For example, it was revealed that RNC staff spent nearly $2,000 at a Los Angeles sex-themed nightclub called Voyeur—this latest incident was the last straw for some Republican donors already fed up with out-of-control spending on private jets and limousines for its chairman.

Just when you thought Steele had learned his lesson, on April 20 he told students at DePaul University that blacks don’t have a reason to vote Republican. Steele also told the 200 students listening to his speech that the Republicans walked away from blacks and that their strategy over the last 40 years to attract Southern white males has alienated minorities.

We challenged Steele and demanded that he explain his statements.

Michael Steele is doing more harm to the GOP’s image and cohesiveness than any campaign strategy conjured up by the DNC—and I’m sure they’re secretly applauding him. Steele is a weak leader—he’s not a conservative—and I’m beginning to question if he’s even a Republican.

President Barack Obama and his radical Democratic co-horts in Congress are relentless in their effort to advance the most ambitious left-wing agenda in the history of this nation including amnesty for illegals. There’s no time to waste—Republicans need to clean house and get the party in order while there’s still time.

Will you stand with me in calling on the GOP leadership to get over their fear of being called racists and replace Michael Steele with a conservative RNC head who will lead a unified party to victory in November?

Here are three simple action steps you can take today!

  1. Contact (Call, Fax, E-mail, Mail) the Republican leaders and RNC and ask them to replace

BOND Action has taken the lead on this issue—I’m not aware of any other organization—particularly black—taking such a stance. The American people can win big in November—but we must take bold action now. Please stand with us for victory.
